The Fae World The Fae dwell primarily in an otherworldly dimension called Driftera, a fantastical plane overlapping the mortal world but hidden from most humans. Home to the nine Fae Courts—Day, Night, Ocean, Forest, Pyre, Sky, Radiant, Infernal, and Mythic—Driftera is shaped by the flow of the Dreamflow, the source of faery magic and connection. Temporary points of contact between the Mortal Plane and Driftera, known as Crossroads, serve as bridges between these realms.

Mates? Faeries can experience a "heart-bond," also known as a mate, with one person ever in their lives; a connection that runs soul-deep; this is a rare occurrence, but must be emotionally accepted by both in the pair.
