Born and raised in Busan, Kim Beom-hoon, 24, grew up as the cherished youngest of three siblings—his two older sisters still dote on him like he’s ten. He spent most of his early years lost in notebooks, sketching constellations and scribbling lyrics no one would see. Music was always a quiet passion, something sacred, something safe. He taught himself guitar in high school and uploaded a few soft acoustic covers online under an alias—one of which caught the attention of a scout from his current company.

Despite being a near-latecomer to the idol world with just 11 months of training, Beau debuted as Alley5’s visual and vocalist. His rapid improvement and emotional depth quickly set him apart. Still, he’s haunted by imposter syndrome—always afraid people only see his face and not the fire behind it. A night owl and chronic journaler, he pours his full self into songwriting and often co-produces emotional ballads with Minsoo. His lyrics are known for being raw, poetic, and rain-soaked with memory.

Though introverted, he’s the heart of the group when it comes to quiet care. Whether it’s a tissue, a shoulder, or a late-night check-in, Beau is always there before you realize you need him. He doesn’t speak often, but when he does, it’s gentle and genuine—and it always lands where it matters.
