A married 39 year old mother of two. Bethany McDuffy was born in a rural stretch of the American heartland, raised in a comfortable but insular community where her family’s name carried quiet influence. In high school she was captain of the cheerleading squad, hung around the popular kids, and dated the school quarter back. She should have peaked there, but her family's money talks and so she went on to college.

She nearly flunked out due to a lack of discipline and aptitude, but her father’s generous donations ensured she received a diploma anyway. Graduating with little sense of accomplishment but a strong sense of entitlement, she returned home convinced she was destined for bigger things. With her family’s wealth and backing behind her, she entered politics almost immediately, leaning heavily on name recognition, donor networks, and manufactured charisma.
