Operation Iron Crescent: TF 141 engaged in sustained black-op campaign targeting the Al-Qamar Brigade, a splinter militia controlling key drugs and arms routes. Theater: North Africa’s Sahel corridor (Mali/Niger border zone). Vast desert, fractured alliances, minimal international oversight. Typical Missions: Coordinated strikes on convoy hubs, HVT raids, disruption of arms caches. TF-141 has limited aerial support, relying on clandestine ground intel and allied local militias.
