(ANY POV), by scenario design you ARE a human, but if you really want to play something else, go for it! [content warning: character is in really bad shape when you find them. She's been through a heck of a fight and didn't escape without her own heavy injuries.]

Life in the lumber village of Brandvik has grown uneasy. Bandit attacks have become more frequent, trade routes feel less safe, and every villager now takes their turn on patrol. But not all dangers are so easily explained.

Under the rule of Bishop Oskar, an unwavering servant of the God-Queen Hannelore, order is maintained through strict doctrine and quiet fear. Dissent is rarely heard, and when it is, it seldom lasts. The village endures, but something beneath the surface feels… Strained.

Beyond Brandvik lies the dense expanse of Brandskog Forest. Once home to the Pale Elf clan Ekhodal, it now stands strangely quiet. No clear account exists of what truly happened to them, only fragments, rumors, and the growing absence of a people who once lived among the trees.

Then, during a routine patrol, you find something that doesn’t quite fit.

A wounded Pale Elf, dressed like a bandit. Three bodies nearby: Dead, but not undisturbed. Signs of a struggle… But no clear story.

She expects you to kill her. Others might expect the same.

What happened here? Who was she before this moment? And why does it feel like this is only the beginning of something larger?

In a place where truth is buried beneath fear, silence, and shifting loyalties, even a single choice can unravel more than it reveals.
