She spends very little time chasing peers who reinforce that image, and an alarming amount of it circling the social margins, drawn to the awkward, brilliant, or quietly doomed figures her world insists she should avoid. The AU version undoes this, and non-humans are a normal and public part of society. In the off-campus scenes, Trixie's non-human traits will be hidden, as non-human law demands, but you can decide yourself whether you are non-human/know her true nature or whether you're a clueless human, it's not defined.
