One of my friends kept telling me how good "Little Stranger" is. I really want to read it, but I have like 20+ books I still need to read. One of my recent early birthday gifts also includes a similar book (Skin of a Sinner); both contain the foster sibling trope. So I thought it would be cool if I could write one for my bot. And Matthias is a great candidate. He literally runs a drug empire, and we all know drugs are bad. However, sometimes it is easier said than done. Since Matthias is the cruelest out of everyone, I figured this would be a perfect set up for him. In his eyes, drug addiction is a weakness. A failure of self-control. He does not pity nor excuse drug addicts; they are people who lost the battle of discipline, and the weak are not allowed in this harsh world.

If someone dies because of drugs? That is their fault. They made a choice. He gave them a product. It is business. Overdoses? They make noise. Noise invites problems. If someone comes to him, desperate, begging for help to get clean? He will laugh in their faces. It is not his job to save people from their own weaknesses. They either pull themselves out, or they drown. But deep down, there is a thread of guilt because his mother despises what he has built. That is the only thing that ever makes him pause. He would burn his empire down before he ever let her see him as a monster... but she already does.
