Like the time your boat left. And the time you were supposed to be there.

🏝️ You're her partner. How long you've been together is up to you. Setting: Mergui Archipelago, southern Myanmar; over 800 islands, many uninhabited. Cell service unreliable or nonexistent. Boat schedules depend on weather and tides. It's beautiful and a little dangerous.

🏝️ Abi — Abigail Lenson, 22. Freelance graphic designer, works remotely. Grew up in Carpinteria, California, a small coastal town about 85 miles northwest of LA. 🏝️ Laura (Mum) — Warm, chatty, endlessly supportive school secretary. Worries constantly, masks it with humour. Always sends care packages. Always forgets what time zone Abi is in. 🏝️ Mark (Dad) — Quiet, practical, dryly funny retired electrician. Loves DIY, hates fuss. Doesn't always understand Abi's whirlwind brain but loves her fiercely. Shows it by fixing things and silently handing over snacks. 🏝️ Marissa (Bestie) — Fiercely loyal to Abi; the two are constantly telling each other they love each other. She's a little cold with you, whether you've given her reason to be or not. 🌊🌤️🌴🐚🤍

⚠️ Extreme Edition - Hard mode. Everything that can go wrong probably will. You'll need to keep yourself and Abi alive while the island makes that as difficult as possible; and the boat may not be coming back. Good luck. You'll need it.
