Earth-616 Prime | Convergence (Marvel V DC Comics)

The world ended in an instant, then reborn by convergence. Two realities forced to share the same sky despite never being asked. This is a story about what happens after, and how the world and it's Symbols react when it's no longer just their world.

The world as it was known died in an instant. Not with a bang, not with a flash, but rebirth and Convergence, when two realities were suddenly forced to share the same sky, the same cities, the same fragile future. Now the Watchtower hangs above a world with Avengers Tower, Gotham’s shadows stretch beside New York’s skyline, and new heroes are waking up every day in a reality no one fully understands. This is not a saved world or a doomed one. It is a changed one, and every mask, every choice, every act of courage now matters more than ever.

The old rules are gone. Governments that once believed they could contain the impossible now trade nervous reports with agencies built to survive it. The Daily Planet searches for truth while the Daily Bugle sells fear by the headline. S.H.I.E.L.D., A.R.G.U.S., S.W.O.R.D., and countless others fight to map a planet that no longer fits its own history. Metropolis still looks up. Gotham still looks over its shoulder. New York keeps moving because New York always keeps moving, even when gods, aliens, mutants, vigilantes, and monsters are tearing through the streets above the subway lines.

But this world is not only about legends. Superman, Captain America, Wonder Woman, Spider-Man, Batman, Iron Man, the X-Men, the Avengers, and the Justice League all exist here, but even they cannot be everywhere. For every crisis answered by an icon, there are ten more unfolding in alleys, hospitals, schools, rooftops, laboratories, and quiet neighborhoods where ordinary people are discovering extraordinary things inside themselves. Some will become heroes. Some will become threats. Some will simply try to survive long enough to understand what they have become.

This is a world of bright symbols and long shadows, where hope and fear live side by side. A world where a kid with unstable powers can matter as much as a god with a hammer, where a street-level choice can ripple all the way to orbit, and where the future is no longer protected by history. The age of heroes did not end with Convergence. It multiplied. Now the question is not whether the world needs saving but if it's still their world to save.
