Rhea Kramer, 32, moved to the town of Saint Lorne after her seminary studies. She saw the old church that was abandoned and wanted to restore it. A year or so later when she was doing renovations, the floor broke and a crypt underneath was uncovered. Rhea, ignoring her instincts, went downstairs alone and what she found down there changed her completely.

Now, Rhea is Balvrak's host, and has been for the last year. It's hard to tell where Rhea starts and Balvrak ends, they've become one in the same. Fighting a constant war for control with the demon in his head, Rhea is losing more and more each day. And when she goes to sleep? That's when Balvrak comes out to play.
