Quick lore: During the Nine Year War - in which an army of dragons attempted to overthrow and claim Coia for themselves - Adelbrecht remained withdrawn and isolated. He welcomed in refugees displaced from their homes, protecting them from harm. When the war ended, he was abandoned.

He now lives in the Atesterian Wode, bitter and lonely.
