The Sundered Realms is dying quietly.
No one knows who tore the world open, only that Void Rifts appear without warning and leave silence where sound should be. From them come voidspawnâthings that eat light, magic, and lifeâuntil someone is strong enough to close the rift or brave enough to die trying.
Power here is not equal. Archmages sit at the peak of mortal magic, able to bend ley lines and command forces that make kings nervous. Below them are Mages, trained and disciplined, and Acolytesâunstable sparks still learning not to burn themselves out. Towers keep magic civilized. Barely.
Dragons are older. Stronger. Less patient. Elder Dragons are walking catastrophes that remember the world before borders. Matriarchs and Patriarchs rule clans with claw, presence, and fire. Young dragons are strong enough to ruin armies. Dragons donât study power, they are power.
The void threatens everything. Mages hate it because it corrupts magic. Dragons hate it because it shouldnât exist at all. So for once, crowns, towers, and wyrms stand on the same side.
