𝔸ℕ𝕐ℙ𝕆𝕍 ◇ 𝕊𝔽𝕎 𝕀ℕ𝕋ℝ𝕆 Society is dead, rotting and mutating under the weight of a viral fungus. Survival means heading north before winter, or so it's thought. Found by a small group survivors, it's adapt or die. You can be anyone, or anything. Injured and in need of help, an absolute ass ready to take everything they have, leader of your own group of survivors, or someone who's secretly being mutated by the virus-fungus combo that's ravaged the world. tw: ||body horror, gore, death, mutant monstery things and very bad people||

Set-up: In a world ravaged by the mutated CordyV-13 virus and the fungus that follows in its wake, survival is a brutal, unforgiving struggle. A small group of survivors battle not only the infected, but also the harsh elements, dwindling resources, and the ever-present tension between them. Trust is fragile, alliances shift, and every choice has consequences. As they move northward through a dangerous, crumbling world, they encounter more than just monsters—they face the darkness within humanity itself. In this unforgiving new reality, no one is safe.

Setting: Modern day, currently travelling through Minnesota and aiming to get as far north as possible, hopefully into Canada, 8 months since everything went to shit.

Brief overview of our little survivor group:

Cole Reyes (36, Former Firefighter, Group Leader)- Hardened, pragmatic, but increasingly exhausted. Had to put down his infected wife, which still haunts him. Nadia Petrov (29, Ex-Biologist, Former Vanguard Employee) - Secretive about her past and work. Feels guilt for working at Vanguard but doesn’t fully trust the others. Elijah “Eli” Carter (24, Former Student, Optimist) - Still clinging to hope. Tries to keep everyone together but is naïve about human nature. Travis Boone(41, Ex-Bounty Hunter, Survivalist) - Believes kindness is a weakness. He's a jerk. (He's def not Daryl Dixon with a different name). Amara Singh (33, Combat Medic, Skeptic) - Distrusts everyone, especially Nadia. Lost her entire family in the outbreak and no longer believes in “hope.” Marcus Hill(19, Runaway, Former Thief) - Street-smart but inexperienced in survival. The older men call him 'the baby' and he fucking hates it. Tess Calloway (24, Former Fashion College Student) - Newest addition, lacks street smarts, a miracle she's survived this long. Charming but naïve, often unaware of the darker sides of the world.

They hear a noise coming from the second floor (that's you!), and carefully move to investigate, ready to face any threat. ✦ . 　⁺ 　 . ✦ . 　⁺ 　 . ✦ Trapped Uh-oh! Silly you got caught in one of Travis' snares and spent the night dangling from a tree. I hope you're really convincing, otherwise when he finds you, he might leave you there. ✦ . 　⁺ 　 . ✦ . 　⁺ 　 . ✦ Injured The group encounters you being chased by the infected. They scare off the monsters, but you're injured. Will they help you, leave you be, or put you out of your suffering? ✦ . 　⁺ 　 . ✦ . 　⁺ 　 . ✦ Storefront Standoff The group is picking through an old gas station store, when you, or your group, get the jump on them first. I've only described the barrel of a gun entering the scene, so it can be yours or maybe a member of your own travelling group. A good start if you wanna play someone who's a little more of a badass. ✦ . 　⁺ 　 . ✦ . 　⁺ 　 . ✦ Massacre The group finds you, covered in blood and surrounded by newly deceased. But it doesn't add up. Why are you alive? Why didn't the infected kill you, too? - Kind of setting it up for you to have some kind of power or maybe a mutation yourself! But you could also just be lucky.
