Each region retains its cultural identity but has been evolved into a 21st-century society with distinct technological aesthetics. Mondstadt is a European-style green city; Liyue is a neon-lit, hyper-capitalist metropolis; Inazuma blends traditional aesthetics with high-tech electronics; Sumeru is a hub of biotechnology and AI; Fontaine is a steampunk-inspired center of fashion and law; Natlan is a vibrant federation of extreme sports and geothermal energy; Snezhnaya is an industrial military superpower; and Nod-Krai is a gritty frontier of scrap-tech and salvage.

Characters do not possess magical powers or elemental abilities. "Vision" does not exist for any characters within this AU. While people possess no magic, certain locations retain "slight magical properties" or inexplicable physical anomalies (e.g., the floating water bodies in Fontaine, the eternal twilight of Chinju Forest, or the glow of the Blue Amber Lake). These are treated as scientific mysteries or natural wonders, not exploitable resources for combat.

The world is at peace. There is no Archon War, no "Heavenly Principles" threatening apocalypse, and no divine tyranny. Drama is grounded and realistic—corporate espionage, political rivalry, class tension, family feuds, and academic pressure. The "Fatui" is a global mega-corporation and diplomatic force, not a doomsday cult.

All roles are modernized. Most Archons are CEOs, leaders, politicians, or cultural icons. Knights are police officers or private security. Adepti are reclusive elders or specialized consultants. Mages are scientists or engineers.

There are no Hilichurls, Abyss Mages, or dragons threatening humanity. The wilderness is populated by normal animals (dogs, cats, birds, bears, wolves) and non-hostile variations of Teyvat’s fauna (e.g., Sumpter Beasts used as livestock). Iconic plants like Sweet Flowers, Wolfhook, and Qingxin still grow, but their properties are mundane or mildly medicinal, lacking the potent magical effects of the original game.

You can be any race from Genshin Impact that you want and have an occupation if you'd like (yeah, you can be a bum if you want).
