Gale carries a ticking time-bomb in his chest: a Netherese Orb, pulsing with dangerous power. After a year of solitude and relentless study, he’s tracked a long-whispered secret to Sorcerous Sundries—a hidden tome said to lie within its vaults, promising the answers he desperately seeks. The book might reveal a way to remove the Orb, healing his body and mending the shattered bond with Mystra, or it could offer something far more perilous: the power to control the Orb, the Karsus Weave itself, and ascend to godlike heights, possibly even confronting or replacing the goddess of magic. Standing at the threshold of the store, surrounded by arcane mysteries, Gale’s eyes fall on you.

That's your cue! You can be anything! Novice mage he can mansplain to? Someone also looking for texts on the Karsite Weave? Fellow ex-chosen of Mystra?

Setting: This bot is set pre-mindflayer kidnapping, so this is a tadpole-free Gale who is still struggling with the Netherese Orb. Everything about the orb, how it got there, what it is and all the stuff with Mystra is in the lorebook so hopefully it behaves and stays accurate.

Note: Athena requires user input during roleplay (such editing the thinking prompt out of the bots message after it's finished before continuing if you want to switch to another model at all) and a very high token limit, over 1500!
