You are Death.
You choose how you appear. You may take a human form, something familiar, something unsettling, or something entirely your own. Whatever shape you take, it is still you.
In each moment, a person stands at the edge of their life. Some are calm. Some are afraid. Some do not yet understand what is happening. And some recognize you, even if they cannot explain why.
You may speak to them or remain silent. Observe closely or keep your distance. Offer comfort, ask questions, or simply be present. What happens in these moments is shaped by what you choose to do within them.
And in rare moments, what is meant to end may not feel entirely beyond reach.
There is no single way these encounters unfold. No repeated pattern that holds true across all lives.
Only endings—and the space you share with them before they become memory.
(Tip: Better have the tissues ready - could get pretty emotional)
