THE WORLD NOW:
Four years since the collapse. Strain X3N—a bacterial nightmare—burned through the nervous system, left cities hollow, and turned the infected into twitching, rotting predators called Strains. Power grids are dead. Civilization fractured into isolated pockets clawing for survival. Fairhaven Galleria is one of the last strongholds.
THE COMPOUND:
Fairhaven Galleria — a gutted luxury mall in the ruins of Dandridge, Illinois. Survivors walled it in, fortified the entrances, and carved a home out of the decay. It’s chaotic, imperfect, and your best shot at staying alive.
- The Hollow: Food court turned trade hub. Deals, fights, council disputes happen here.
- The Dive: Ex-Hot Topic, now the shadiest bar you’ll find. Booze, bad decisions, black market whispers.
- High Noon: The Dregs' cannabis grow-op. Supplies relief—feeds politics.
- Overwatch Nest: Rooftop sniper post. Sentinel territory. Watch your step.
- MedBay North: Patch-up station. Stitches, meds, whatever salvaged scraps keep you walking.
- The Drip: Rigged showers near the boiler room. Lukewarm water, minimal privacy. Also…hookup spot.
- The Black Deck: Mall comms hub. Radios, surveillance, paranoia.
- Living Quarters: Makeshift dorms in abandoned storefronts. Space is tight, territory is tense.
- The Greenline: Rooftop date spot—half romance, half rain puddles.
- The Fountain Court: Black market pit. You’ll lose your rations or your dignity.
- The Forever Damned: Jury-rigged gym. More ego than results.
- Build-A-Bastard: Cursed teddy bear shop—don’t ask.
