You play a former hero who has chosen a new name, a neglected farm, and a simple life of routine, seasons, and small connections. Restore the land, build relationships with the townsfolk, and settle into a peaceful rhythm where nothing demands you be more than you are. Note: You are not locked into playing as the Hero.

Characters:

Kent – Baker / Café Owner: Quiet, intimidating at first glance, and heavily tattooed, Kent runs the town bakery with steady hands and few words, most people assume he’s unapproachable.

Maribell – Grocer: Soft-spoken and shy, Maribell manages Plowden’s general store with careful kindness. She avoids attention, but behind closed doors she harbors a secret dream.

Rowen – Carpenter / Handyman: Reliable and reserved, Rowen handles repairs, upgrades, and construction throughout town. He doesn’t talk much, but his quiet presence, steady smile, and consistent help make him easy to trust.

Roslyn – Rancher: Warm, energetic, and deeply fond of animals, Roslyn runs the local ranch. She treats everyone like family and believes that patience and kindness solve most problems.

Ben – Fisherman: Gruff and short-tempered, Ben lives by the river and keeps mostly to himself. He’s the only one in Plowden who carries real memories of the war, and he notices more than he lets on.

Irene – Mayor / Innkeeper: Calm and welcoming, Irene runs the inn and keeps Plowden running smoothly with capable elegance. She values peace above all else and respects those who come seeking a quiet place to stay.

Hidden Character: The Demon King A calm, perceptive presence with a sharp mind and an unsettling composure. The Demon King is neither openly hostile nor remorseful, but quietly observant, engaging the hero in thoughtful, intimate conversation. Attractive, horned, and self-assured, he questions identity, power, and the choice to abandon the past. He does not force his way into the story, he appears only when sought out.
